Review of The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021) by Mrpajamas — 04 May 2021
The Mitchells vs. the Machines came up with an interesting idea and in my opinion the authors managed to squeeze this idea very well and definitely used the potential that this film had. What immediately struck me was the wonderful (I really like) the animation, which is in the style of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
But it doesn't end with animation and I think the story is really nice. A family that is a bit crazy, but each character has something and each of them gets their time, which is great. I liked the main heroine the most, but the others will also get space.
There's a joke here and there and the world wondered, I liked it and I laughed a few times and I'm telling you, I really don't have to do comedy. In all this, great music also appears in the film, and imagine when you have a beautiful stylization, a perfect story and even great music.
That must be great, right? I would also like to say that it is and that it is a great film that I can recommend, with the family.
