Review of The Most Dangerous Game (1932) by Anthony M — 27 Jun 2009
A fine mix of adventure and horror on an island setting you'll recognise as the one in KING KONG. A very slim and simple story: a mad count hunts humans as prey. Surprisingly hasn't dated very much, and benefits from a creepy turn from Leslie Banks as the zealous bad guy and Fay Wray as the scream queen.
I found this more graphic and macabre than the much better known DRACULA from the year before.
