Review of The Mountain Between Us (2017) by Cameron C — 12 Oct 2017

(Spoilers) I was already debating whether I wanted to see this movie or not, because it seemed like just another movie about being stranded and somehow surviving (since there were only to characters I rightly assumed that they both lived).

I ended up hating the movie because the guy is ALWAYS saving the girl, and she is constantly depicted as weaker and less able. There is even a scene where he is DRAGGING her on a sled while she's lying down and barely awake.

Furthermore she is constantly asking him about his wife and snooping through his stuff. In the end when they FINALLY got together I doubted they were meant for each other because somehow their characters didn't seem to click together for me, and their only connection was surviving a terrible event that nobody can understand.

Besides that, there wasn't much else there.
