The Mummy isn't amazing. It isn't as bad as the critics are saying it is but it's not that good. Even though the third act has a lot of good action, the second act is just setup for the next film.
I didn't really like the protagonists, they were kind of bland. There's also some cheesy dialogue and plot holes along the way. In the end The Mummy is fine. If you want to watch a fun action movie, you'd like this.
