Review of The Net (1995) by Scubasteve Walter M — 18 Feb 2014
The Net relies strongly on its subject of cyber conspiracy. Unlike any other stories, The Net sees the criminal potential from the birth of the internet. But as a thriller, it doesn't provide a lot of thrills, just running from one corner onto another.
This is the only story I love and hate for having a protagonist who is so helpless through out the film, and resolves her quest in a matter of 5 minutes. Witty or just plain silly? Despite of this, The Net will forever be one of the best conspiracy stories around, however poor it was executed into film.
