Review of The New Mutants (2020) by Imthenoob — 08 May 2021
This movie is very light on the mutant side of thing and heavy on the attempts to portray angsty teens dealing with deep personal problems. This doesn't feel like an X-Men film at all but instead an attempt to shoehorn in the X-Men into what feels like an entirely different movie.
Everything from the directing, writing and acting was a mess. There is a reason why this movie stayed shelved for so long. It sucks.
