Review of The Northman (2022) by Tomhug — 20 May 2022
Thin story with not enough emphasis on characters so you really don't care who kills whom, or who gets revenge against whom. Alexander Skarsgård carries this entire film. The film does have a successful overall look and feel, but I didn't buy any of the relationships between the main characters, so the movie overall fell flat.
Should have been fewer dance numbers, and more character interaction.
