Review of The Notebook (2004) by Josiah C — 22 Aug 2014
It's like a puzzle -- the filmmakers took every pretty piece they could find from different sources and tried to make a picture. Unfortunately, the result is a choppy, messy, cliched drama with little to really emotionally latch onto, other than James Garner and Gena Rowlands' outstanding performances.
