I can't imagine what was expected when you turn a classical ballet into a movie, but I thought this movie was wonderful. Visually beautiful, lovable characters and plenty of Nutcracker music and ballet.
I have read complaints about the scary mouse king, in several stories he has multiple heads! It's not the ballet, it is Disney's story of Clara and her mother's legacy. All you're little ballerinas will love it.
