I really enjoyed this movie. I don't understand quite why it has gotten such terrible reviews. I thought that it was sweet and fun. Just the sort of magical family film that I expected it to be. A little bit dark, a little bit funny, I really think that the whole family can get something out of this film.
As for the storyline and characters, which seems to be what everyone is complaining about, I found nothing wrong with them. No, it is not the most monumental film ever made, and perhaps it is a little bit 'forgettable', but it is thoroughly enjoyable, and made me smile.
