A decent concept ruined by bad writing and directing. Open House could've been wonderfully creepy with something like a haunted house story that turns out to be an intruder living in the basement plot-twist.
I would've liked to see a truly scary version of Housebound instead of this uneventful, unfortunate attempt at a horror movie.
