The Parallax View is a suspenseful, thought-provoking, and very well made and edited film with great cinematography, fine performances, a chilling/intense soundtrack, timely (well, of that time) political and social commentary, and an interesting and complex conspiracy plot that starts small, but grows and becomes something much bigger, albeit confusing, and menacing.
