Review of The Parallax View (1974) by Gordon B — 11 May 2012
After a reporter witnesses a JFK-like assassination he tries to infiltrate an organization called the parallax corporation. he thinks he stumbled onto something big - and he's right - but he's clueless just how big. even at the end he has no idea who, what or why the parallax corporation is or what it does or why... to his own detriment.
An interesting exploration of the paranoia of the 70s - thanks to vietnam and watergate and JFK . these days we're so cynical this paranoia seem tame and quaint.
