While I miss the bittersweet tones and gentle jazzy atmosphere that made Peanuts so subtly potent, I greatly enjoyed and appreciated how well this movie captured the uplifting and charming core of Peanuts.
From the lovably flawed characters to the simplistically cute animation style to the coming-of-age narratives, this movie did a solid job at recreating Peanuts while still standing on its own.
