Review of The Peanuts Movie (2015) by Logan A — 19 Jun 2018
The highest praise I'll give Peanuts is that it wonderfully adapts the art style of Charles Schulz's comic strip into visually engaging CG. I especially like the imagine spots where the characters thoughts look like the black and white strips.
Don't expect anything particularly amazing from the writing. The story is fairly low-key, almost to the point of being slice-of-life, though I suppose if you're adapting the storytelling as well as the visuals of the strip, that's to be expected.
Still, I recommend this to anyone who enjoys the Peanuts comic.
