The ambiguous ending may not satisfy because it doesn't seem like what many were expecting, and it shouldn't. For a film that portrays in a grotesque way the oppression of the system in which we live, there are still moments of relief.
The Platform is an escapist production for those who want to feel immersed in quality fiction, even though their madness is so incredibly similar to our reality.
