Was expecting it to be a gore fest and in some way it was, but this movie is really a good one. Was very surprised with the existence a nice plot, fine acting & documentary style filming & the way it balanced everything pretty well.

Full of disturbing images, violence, graphic tortures, gore but the real horror of The Poughkeepsie Tapes is not what you see, but what you don't get to see & only let your imagination set it up for you.

I'm still surprised that I actually liked this film. Had no expectations at all but it turned out to be something much better than typical slasher films. Must watch for horror fans.
