Review of The Predator (2018) by Ryan H — 01 Dec 2018
The plot is thin, most of the characters are one-dimensional, and there are a couple moments where the CGI looks a bit off. That being said, The Predator is a very fun action flick. Most of the jokes are funny, the action is great, and the acting is solid around the board.
Boyd Holbrook proves himself both a strong actor and a solid action star, Olivia Munn proved that scientists can be badassess too, Jake Busey does a good job while also strengthening the series' continuity, and Jacob Tremblay steals the show, giving an excellent performance and the most accurate portrayal of ASD since Ben Affleck in The Accountant.
Top it all off with an awesome new Predator design, and you get a flawed but very fun experience.
