Irritated the devil out of me. This movie and I got off on the wrong foot with "Belgravia," but what really irritates me is that this whole "marry a prince" dream has made a resurgence.
And now it's an even more annoying form of wish fulfillment because they simultaneously want to be too good to be enamored of royalty. You can be too good to dream of marrying a prince, or you can dream of marrying a prince.
You can't have it both ways and both this, and the Christmas Prince had that attitude. But, this one was even more irritating because at least in Christmas Prince, she actually helped the family instead of just spewing sanctimony.
