Review of The Prom (2020) by Mattaluck — 16 Dec 2020
The movie is fine, the source of material is not great to begin with, the songs are not that good, the only great thing about this movie is Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Keegan-Michael Key and Andrew Rannells.
Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman have all the fun they can. Keegan-Michael Key is charismatic and convincing. Andrew Rannells just doing whatever he always do. other performance is fine. the early review make me think that James Cordon is so bad, but to me it isn't, he is fine, not the way I imagining how bad he could be.
but those dramtic turn of people accepting people to be gay with deeply belief could only ever be happen in musical but reality.
