Review of The Purge: Election Year (2016) by Random V — 11 Dec 2017
A strong, logical addition to the PURGE series, this movie brings this segment of the series to its conclusion. With decent performances, and a wide range of characters, the PURGE: EY continues with the break-away concept of the second film where the characters take it to the street during the annual purging.
This movie may not be as fun as, say, playing the Grand Theft Auto series, but it's entertaining watching the characters navigate the city to their safest possible destination, and seeing new levels of Hell on every block.
And it's refreshing to see the story continue, conclude, and offer a possible new direction for further installments.
