Review of The Quick and the Dead (1995) by Alex S — 18 Sep 2009
A highly stylized western that glamorizes itself in minimal plot, over the top action, and little dialogue. I love it. It has its flaws, but they almost make the film enjoyable in the same taste. Acting is mediocre, Gene Hackman basically making a reprise of his role in Unforgiven, Sharon Stone is good in beginning but bad in the end, etc.
Fun movie, especially from Sam Raimi.
