Review of The Reaping (2007) by Richard R — 22 Jun 2014
I did not expect to like this film - I was expecting trash. I was pleasantly surprised. While the overall premise is a little bit high-concept and the film oozes creep rather than genuine horror, the slow realisation of Hilary Swank's character's revelation to the divine from a sceptic is surprisingly well done.
Definitely worth a second viewing.
