Review of The Return of the Pink Panther (1975) by Don S — 15 Jul 2011
This movie was terrible. For something I assume was supposed to be funny, I didn't laugh (or even chuckle) a single time throughout. Sellers pratfalls and bumbling were not even mildly amusing. The storyline was very thin -- heck there wasn't really a storyline, just Clouseau following around the wife of the suspected thief. There were no clues given to who did it, and then the answer is sprung on us with little explanation. Possibly the worst comedy I've ever seen (and if it is supposed to be a mystery instead of a comedy - it IS the worst mystery I've ever seen). Totally lacks charm, wit, and reason. Not worth a moment of your time.
