Review of The Russia House (1990) by Aditya M — 12 Sep 2013
I cannot see that I saw the movie, since I was admiring Mr. Connery and Ms. Pfeiffer, and the sound in the V. H. S. tape, was pretty muted. The picture was like the mound of grain in any part of the global prairie, too, though the male and female protagonists were clear and visible.
This was the book that was written before the Constant Gardner, the last book written by le Carre, perhaps.
I saw the movie on T. V., and this is the most relaxing spy movie that I have seen. Seems, that Sean Connery is supposed to be less of a double agent to Russia, as much as Dante is a double agent to the west, because of the beautiful 'Katya'. I mean, Dante was more confused, because he felt he needed the charade, and didn't have one of his staff outside the circus building.
