This is another case of a sort of undeserved reverence for Norman Jewison. There were scenes with Reiner and Keith that were amusing, but on the whole there wan't all that much that was original or fresh.

I kept waiting for the big laugh and what I got was a moment of the Russians and New Englanders "pulling together". Really more of a throwaway afternoon watch.
