Review of The Sense of an Ending (2017) by Andy C — 26 Mar 2017
What a magnificent film this is. Brilliantly acted, moving, deep. To be sure, it's not for anyone who needs a movie to be fast paced. But if you can slow down and appreciate character development and some real human emotion, this is probably something you should see.
The flashbacks were masterfully woven. It's so easy to lose people's history as they age. That was looked at here, along with some profound wisdom around the stories we tell about our lives As I say, not for everyone. But for those who might write in a similar voice to me, see this. You'll be happy you did.
