British Hammer Studios' old-fashioned & highly-atmospheric tale of the revenge meted out by a cat on those unsavory characters responsible for the murder of its mistress. It may sound implausible, but the ways in which the fearsome feline leads the pernicious perpetrators to their various demises are captivatingly clever, & will keep you glued to yer seat 'til film's end.
