Review of The Shallows (2016) by Braedan L — 31 Dec 2018
For what it is, a shark thriller based in one single geographic location, the movie is decent. Blake Lively's performance is easily the best in the movie (of course she is pretty much the only person in the movie so that isn't saying much).
Without spoiling the movie for those who haven't seen it, the ending leaves a bit to be desired, but overall I'd say this: If you are looking for a pretty good thriller, and you've already seen most of them, this movie could work.
