Exquisite soundtrack and distinct visuals are expected in a Del Toro film. Excellent acting from Sally Hawkins, Richard Jenkins, Octavia Spencer, Michael Stuhlbarg, and especially Michael Shannon. The subject matter is challenging and leaves you with some questions.
How you ultimately feel about this movie will be determined by how you choose to fill the gaps left by these questions.
