Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Michael M — 02 Aug 2015
A uniquely creepy performance from Hopkins and daringly open performance from Foster carry the whole film. Shockingly simple, this film manages to get its creeps largely through implications and atmosphere with extreme success.
Genuinely unsettling and artistically brilliant, it tells an intriguing story of two complicated characters amidst its macabre implications. A great film.
