Review of The Sky Is Everywhere (2022) by Dawdlingpoet — 12 Aug 2022
I liked some aspects of this film but for the most part, I didn't feel too emotionally invested in the characters, it has to be said. I like the music playing during the film and the fact its quite imaginative - it has a daydreamy feel to it, a bit like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
However, I just didn't feel at all connected to the overall story arc, unfortunately. Its a fairly easily forgettable film but its not entirely bad either. It's very much a film focussing on a teenage girls emotions - heartbreak etc.
, so it'll either appeal or not. Its not really for me but I imagine there's an audience for it who would enjoy it well enough. I wouldn't particularly recommend it, no.
