Review of The Snowman (2017) by Craig P — 27 Jul 2018
I think I'm being awfully generous with that rating. What a crushing disaapointment. This should become a history lesson in 1 million ways of how a production that has all the talent in the world to be a success (Director Tomas Alfredson, of the amazing Let The Right One In, executive producer MARTY F'N SCORCESE, adapted from a Jo Nebson novel, starring the almost always great Michael Fassbender.
.. who is terrible here, Charlotte Gainsbourg, J.K Simmons, Toby Jones, Rebecca Ferguson...) could go absolutely, incredibly, astoundingly bonkers wrong! Here's hoping the next Harry Hole (pronounced "Hol-eh", stop laughing) works out.
Oh and the less said about Val Kilmer's "performance", the better! WOOF **.
