Review of The Song (2014) by Kori R — 27 Feb 2015
I was a bit skeptical when I first rented this movie, I've watched most of the current "Christian" produced movies out there, and while some do have a good story, that's about all they have going for them. I love seeing a good morally uplifting movie, but usually I have to suffer through poor film quality, cheesy acting, and predictable plots to get it.
I was, however, pleasantly surprised by this movie. Overall, the acting, plot, character development, and cinematography were a step up from your average small movie production. I will actually buy this movie on DVD, which is something I rarely do anymore. I actually plan on watching it again. I definitely reccommend this movie, it was enjoyable and on the cutting edge of "Christian" filming. Definitely one of the best ones made yet!
