Review of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015) by Shaun B — 28 Dec 2018
'Making waves in our world'. Stephen Hillenburg directs another Spongebob movie which isn't as good as the original movie. When I first watch the trailer for this movie I was so hyped for it because they became superheroes but when I saw it in the cinema I was quite disappointed because the superheroes scene was about 25 mins long when it should of been longer. The film is still as goofy and hilarious as the original but doesn't have as good a plot as the original movie did.
When a diabolical pirate above the sea steals the secret Krabby Patty formula, SpongeBob and his nemesis Plankton must team up in order to get it back.
The diabolical pirate is play by Antonio Banderas which I think was a really smart choice. The film has great visual effects and is very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this movie to the fans.
Recommend rating 8+ for violence and toilet humour.
Grade A-.
