Exquisite demonstration of all power corrupting & all corruption being brutalizing. Authority gone unrestrained will inevitably devolve into cruelty for its own sake. Prisons & police should be run so completely opposite of how they're run that its excruciating to to contemplate the injustice that they are regularly the source of & the intractability of our commitment to the way they're run now.

Makes clear why so many can't contain their hatred of cops & authority figures in general. Wanted to ring the lead researcher's neck throughout.
