Review of The Station Agent (2003) by Eric H — 13 Nov 2014
This film is a marvel, a low key, quiet and simple story about lonely people who balk at companionship but somehow wind up reaching out to others as lonely as themselves. Peter Dinklage is just great as a dwarf who has inured himself to the world's insults.
He has one of the best speaking voices I have ever heard in the movies. All the actors do a wonderful job in a softly sad, quietly uplifting slice of life of unoticed people making do with the vagaries of being alive.
Verdict: One of the best movies of the year. I just loved it.
