Review of The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982) by Paul R — 07 Jun 2007
What's not to like?! The hero is called Talon and has a triple-bladed sword, the villain is a demonic sorceror with a penchant for ripping out his opponents' hearts using his psychic powers, and a leg of beef is effectively used to take out a group of baddy soldiers.
This film also has an incredibly high serving-wench count. Utterly awesome film, I have literally seen this about 150 times. Without a doubt the best of that little gaggle of early 80s sword and sorcery films (yes, better than Conan).
