Review of The Terminator (1984) by Lars H — 11 Nov 2018
A masterclass in filmmaking. It's very impressive what they did on their budget. Any fan of sci-fi and horror should give Terminator a shot. I'm aware that this film's marketed as an action flick NOW, and it actually BLENDS genres, but Terminator did begin as horror, then forever went to action under the phenomenal sequel.
Its horror influence can be seen in films such as Child's Play, Halloween 4, and the first kill in Jason Lives.
