Review of The Terminator (1984) by Michael M — 27 Jan 2013
This is the epitome of 80s sci-fi greatness. Well, at least it's up there anyway. It's a gritty tech noir deserving of the title of "classic." It's much more low key in scope than its sequels, but that's not really a bad thing.
It's a different type of movie more about building the tension, and boy does it get tense. A lot of the effects are pretty dated, but there's still a certain charm to this. It's just a damn classic, not much more I can say that hasn't already been said.
