Review of The Thirteenth Floor (1999) by Caesar B — 17 Nov 2012

Here I go again, comparing a movie to The Matrix, but I swear it's justified. These movies are from the same years and have similar stories, but they are miles and miles apart. Most notibly the sfx, this movie stinks compared to The Matrix and where TM blew my mind with its story the 13th floor is hella predictable.

Maybe it's because I watched this movie in 2012 and I'm sci-fi numb, but this whole dream within a dream has been done over and over again. I think it was actually old in 1999, I remember seeing that kinda stuff in Star Trek TNG and The Outer Limits.

This movie won't even make my top 100.
