With beautiful 2-D animation that displays its beautiful lines and colours after its recent restoration, Transformers the Movie is a true time capsule of 80s childhood, with an amazing soundtrack, a great voice cast and a surprising amount of dark moments.
It fires through its story with action sequence after action sequence which may be too much for some, but only helps to make it a joy to behold when seeing the far out designs and characters as the film fully embraces what the franchise is all about.
