I appreciate artistic films .. this' not one of them. Visually engaging, yet empty at its core. Expecting existential qns, this was more about an abusive father & a broken child. that's it.
Peppered with hints of Christianity .. but not enough to give it shape either. & the abusive man's need for some form of success, to have something. An unnecessary & unpleasant film.
