Review of The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll (1960) by Derrick C — 20 Jan 2009
Typical Hammer slant of an old horror tale; playful and out of the ordinary. While the budget constraints are quite evident throughout the production (really only like 2 or 3 sets, no real sfx to speak of other than the mysteriously dissapearing beard of Dr.
Jekyll), there was an unmistakable charm that held my interest right through to the inevitable end. Check it out if you are interested and you will see one of the worst beards of all time.
