I think one should admire this picture for what it IS. At no point did it attempt to compare to the original "Crocodile Dundee" film from 1986. It clearly "insists" on being in a category of it's own and I kinda like that.
It was nice to see some appearances by some of our favourite stars from "yesterday." This film didn't try to be anything more than what it was, and I can totally respect that. Actually, my biggest complaint would be the subpar picture quality and camera work!! I know it wasn't WONDERFUL and people are being pretty harsh with this film in the reviews, but I enjoyed it.
