It's ending is utterly pointless and is in line with a lot of old fashined films believing that those who do bad should necessarily bring up their own doom, but they could have at least shown it all in a convincing manner. Nevertheless, Wages of fear is dark, gritty and tense, its no wonder why this film still has its influence in modern times.
