Review of The Walk (2015) by Jao R — 04 Jan 2016
It's a simple story, and you would think with such a simple premise the movie would run out of things to say before the final credits roll. But Zemeckis does a masterful job of keeping the audience interested.
Rather than leaning on a thin plot, Zemeckis chooses to focus on the main character, Philippe, who is a dominant and unapologetic character. Philippe's character is so strong he moves the story by himself.
And by the end, the audience doesn't regret rooting for the incorrigible anarchist.
