Review of The War Zone (1999) by David Ray G — 05 Feb 2010
The authenticity of this families happiness is what stayed with me. How comfortable they are with each other, how much they love one another. Tim Roth and Alexander Stuart do a brilliant thing by making the story about how you try to deal with the horror, not how you solve it.
There is no solution. The film is so haunting showing how one man's actions can absolutely destroy the lives of his family and in all cases future generations.
