Review of The Water Diviner (2014) by Imaginarily B — 30 Jun 2017
This is a much better movie then some of the comments suggest. It's not a summer blockbuster, no super heroes, no glorified portrayal of war, no explicit sex, and no toilet humour. This is a movie about the aftermath of war and the tragedy that must be dealt with by families on both sides.
The story premise skirts the edge of plausibility, but only in a minor fashion. Water diving is simply a device for setting up the real story.
