Review of The Way of the Gun (2000) by Graham B — 10 Dec 2014
Parker and Longbaugh are two small time criminals who decide to up the stakes and kidnap Robin, a surrogate mother to a wealthy couple's child. Little did they know that the adoptive father is a big crime lord and soon they are up to their necks in trouble trying to broker a deal.
This is a film with many flaws. The plot and synopsis is quite irrational. The script is rather lacking in humour. Ryan Philippe is a terrible actor and his voiceover exposition is annoying. The whole shebang is contrived and derivative. Saying all that though, it is never boring and has a passive watchability. Rather pointless, but inoffensively so. It passed time.
